Living in Florida, I am in my late 20s. Wow. That is scary to say the word late when describing your age. Anyway, I have always loved traveling. From traveling to the Grand Canyon when I was six to my first time out of the country ten years ago, I fell in love with learning other cultures, seeing world landmarks and eating unique foods. It has been my goal to continue traveling to new places and revisit my favorite.
This blog isn't like other travel blogs. I haven't planned to quit my job to travel full-time. Though to be truthful, I would love to win the lottery and drop down to part time at my job to travel more. If only I can find a winning lottery ticket on the ground. At last, I haven't. Therefore still working fulltime, I only have so much vacation and paid sick time in a year equaling about 20 days in the long year.
I also travel on a budget. I make $11 an hour which doesn't allow much room for saving especially with my mortgage I have on my townhouse. I research my trips and try to stick to a tight budget. Though the word budget isn't in my boyfriend's vocabulary, we try to do short trips based on flight deals and discounts maxing our money. Therefore, this blog will also show my finical situations and hopefully hold me accountable.
A final disclosure. I am not a writer. I write to relive my memories. To inspire myself and maybe one day others to travel across the world. Sometimes I will rant. Other times I will make no sense. This blogger won't turn into a freelance writer cause that has never been a dream of mine.
