Budget Breakdown for Halloween in ATL
I do get the question of how I travel the country making only $11 an hour.
I plan and choose cheap options. Sure, I would have loved to see the Aquarium or eaten at The Sun Dial. A five star hotel would be lovely to rest my head at the end of the day.
However, my budget didn't allow those things. Instead I did Six Flags mainly cause I already had a season pass since I had gone to California and visited some Six Flags there. Therefore, it was free entertainment. My hotel was a $65 hotel in a decent area with breakfast included helping me keep a smaller budget.
Below is a breakdown of our expenses. This amount was split between me and my boyfriend.
Gas (average 2.09/gallon) = $123
Hotel = $130 ($65 a night)
Six Flags = $0
Netherland =$70
Zoo = $35
Food = $112.33 (includes all food options)
Total = $470.33
So a fun 3-Day getaway only cost me $235. Not bad for a mini-vacation.
