| Enchantment of the Seas |
Company and Ship: This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise. I enjoyed Royal Caribbean. Every cruise line has something to offer and for Royal Caribbean it is the service. I was highly impressed with the friendly crew and staff aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. Many of the crew remember your name and your drink order. For me, that is a major plus. The ship was older and needed a new coat of paint.
 |
| The Centrum |
The atrium: Not as dated as some of the cruise ships I have been on. They used the space a lot hosting all types of activities such as trivia and Wii games. They had dancing lessons and live music. Of course the bar had a lot of different drink choices.
Room: The room was smaller for a interior room. For a three night ship, it was plenty of room though. Of course, the beds were two twin beds pushed together to create a "King". The bed was rather soft. The bathroom was small as any cruise ship. The shower curtain was awful as it sticks to your ass. The biggest bummer is the TV doesn't have any movie channels.
 |
| Main Pool |
Pools: Originally, I thought the pool area looked very old fashion. However, I quite enjoyed the pool deck. They had sports on the giant TV screen and an old fashion movie such as Singing with the Rain. Enjoyed both bars near the pool. Both were crowded but never took too long to get our order.

The Solarium
This area is the adult area. It can get very warm inside but it is beautiful. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing. The snack shop (park café) was my favorite place to grab a snack.

| Rock Climbing Wall |
 |
| Jump Zone |
Entertainment: Enjoyed the Jump Zone. Anyone can go on it but no flips are allowed. Gives you a crazy view with water all around you. The video arcade area is out dated with a few new video games. 30 foot rock wall on the back of the ship. Didn't have a chance to climb. It looked old but again I bet the view is amazing from the top.

| Lounges |
 |
Orpheus Theater
The shows were the biggest disappointment for me on the ship. The welcome board show was crap. They had a juggler that was very unlikable. Latin music was always playing in some of the lounges. Overall, I found even the daytime entertainment weak. Unlike some other cruise lines, I felt underwhelm with the number of choices I had. Definitely needed more entertainment throughout the cruise.

| Drink of the Day: Bahama Mama |
Bars: Staff was very friendly. Some of the bars had the same genetic drinks. The schooner bar had a lot of different cocktails that is very fruity. It is also the Piano bar. Unlike the other cruise, this piano bar, they have more of a laid back feeling instead of the crazy, funny piano bars Carnival Cruise has. The Boleros Bar always had Latin music playing if they didn't have any trivia games. The frozen drinks were horrible. Worst drink on the boat.

| View from the Viking Crown |
Viking Crown is my favorite area. It gives you an amazing view of the pool deck and the giant screen. At night, it turns into a dance club. One night they had a silence dance party where everyone had headphone sets and you choose between two different stations that two different DJ were playing. Everyone was singing and dancing to the different songs. The Bar also had one of the best selections of cocktails.
Food: Food was delicious. Park Cafe in the Solarium was my favorite snacks. They had an amazing Roast Beef sandwich. The buffet area Windjammer was your traditional buffet. It was hit or miss with the items and nothing amazing. The burgers and hot dogs were disgusting. Everyday the food changes though giving lots of different options. Breakfast had a lot of options. My Fair Lady Dinning Room is the My Time Dinning room located on Deck 4 and 5. Service in the dinning room was amazing. Food was very delicious. Room service food was very, very horrible. Cold food and took forever. Overall, yummy food choices.
Around the ship, they had these maps that were interactive. You could touch the location you wanted to find such as bathrooms and it would show you where you were on the ship and the route to get to the location you were trying to find.

| Main Deck |
Final thoughts: Entertainment was very weak on this cruise. Even daytime activities were too much. The service was amazing. Food was yummy and tasty in the dinning room. Even though it is an older ship, I had a wonderful time and recommend it to anyone for a short get-away cruise!
